Always make it a habit to start your day with a fresh mind. The best way to achieve that is to mindful thinking exercises. Create a small space in the corner of a room. Allow this corner to be your neutral corner where you go when things get too hectic or when you are feeling overwhelmed with anxiety. Set the space up with a few things that promote calm and serenity, for some that might be their favorite aroma therapy candle or a oil diffuser. Add other items like your favorite daily reading, words of affirmation or a poem. Take some to recite those words of affirmation and what they mean to you, remind yourself of your positive attributes. This self care moment is very important and will bring you clarity of thought. Spend the last two minutes of your moment writing a to do list and remind yourself that your to do list is just a suggested the world will not end if you don't completely satisfy everything written on that sheet of paper. Once your time is up keep in mind you have plenty of time to do what needs to be done, if you didn't get it complete then the world can wait until it does.
